About my Art

I admire the works of Minor White, Ansel Adams, Chesley Bonestell, and George Lucas.
The b/w imagery, sci-fi landscapes, other worlds, these artists have created are art movements in of themselves. I have become influenced by their works; the kind of art I make is because of the images they have created. Therefore because of this, these artists all have drawn me into the art field. The inspiration for the work I do comes from nature, and life itself. Being connected to the creator by and through my natural surroundings . The art I make can range from the real to the abstract, or a fusion of the real, and abstract. All the aforementioned are aspects I strive to make a part of my works; the goal being helping the viewer to be, transcending the mortal bounds of our existence. to awaken others to the world that is, what could be, both within and without, to connect the viewer to nature, to those around them, and ultimately their creator. I feel at home and at peace when creating my works. That is where I feel most centered, making imagery, To bring about fresh new worlds, never before seen. I also create imagery of worlds, as a reflection of this one, to leave my viewer with a sense of hope, that in the end, all will be as it should, to offer hope, or at very least to let them know they are not alone in life. I have been involved, in making art since my childhood; however it has only been recently that I have been able to pursue going back to school, because of life changes, to complete my degree, and a career in art.

My website offers a variety of 3d and 2d based artworks and models, and related items.3d models, links, related artworks are created using 3d software. One of such program created by me is called Modelmaker, this is a cad like based program, that is easy to use, feature and power packed. This software exports to Wave front obj and AutoDesk dxf file format, plus a few others.

My Art making process, based on model making, and rendering digital art. As a digital artist, I work in a variety of media: charcoal drawings, 3d artist programs, free 3d models, free textures, 3d content, allowing the use of texture maps, This 3d works also incorporate 3ds max, 2d graphics, Mojoworld. flat patterns, model plans,I also use Terragen to create 3d worlds, or 3d landscapes, Other 3d cad applications and 2d textures, are also used from time to time.

Then all this is composed into one image using Photoshop. By employing layering technique based on photos of my charcoal drawings and sometimes oils based paintings as well. These 2d artist works are then turned into digital high resolution backgrounds. The imagery that results can then be turned into paintings, printouts, or whatever. In this art making process, of blending the old ways and the new ways of digital production, and output. This methodology results in a synthesis of sorts to take place ending up in the furtherance of new ideas for imagery which are arrived at in no other way.

Because of life changes resulting in going back to school and obtaining an Associates degree in Studio Art. While on this journey of being in school, where I have created art works in combination of the old and new ways of art creation. This also have resulted in the further exploration into 3d modeling, software creation (resulting in Modelmaker2), Photoshop and the delving into the creation of 3d worlds using some of the various 3d programs out there, such as Bryce, 3ds max and a few others
This website offers a variety of 3d and 2d based artworks and models, plus related items.
